The Cross & Crutches.

Everyone faces adversity. For some it is a lifetime, for others it is a season. I've walked through physical adversity, with God's grace, for the majority of my life undergoing 13 surgeries to date. Both hips were replaced when I was twenty-three. Since 1990, three additional hip revision surgeries occurred. In 2008, both ankles were replaced through four separate surgeries in March, June, September and December. In 2016, I had ankle revision surgery to replace the right ankle. In 2017, two stents we inserted into my left anterior artery as it was 99% blocked. In April, my left knee was replaced. In August, I had ankle revision surgery to replace the left ankle. My hope rests in a bedrock personal relationship in Jesus Christ. He alone is the One who rescued me from my sins and can save you from your sins. See the June 16, 2008 “His Story”, post for details.
